Good morning dear Divine Perspective Readers. I want to seize this opportunity to express my profound gratitude to you for staying committed to Divine Perspective after all these months of barraging your phones and devices with several notifications of DP posts. We started in April, it’s December already and I’m amazed at the impact DP is having in many lives. By this time next week, we would be few hours into 2016 and my prayer for you in the new year is that your path would be like a shining light that shines brighter and brighter. You’re a well spring of water whose water will never fail. The new year will be for you, a year of fat things. You will neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of God. You will walk in seamless flow of revelation knowledge, God’s Will will superimpose itself in every area of your life as you experience greater grace. From my heart; I LOVE YOU.

So to the business of the day… We started last week on the subject of Greater Riches, where we explored the riches of the glory of God’s inheritance in the saints, and we barely scratched the surface. Many of the prayers prayed by believers at times are very locational or better put; cultural. Prayers about money, contracts, sudden breakthroughs, dangerous blessings and so on, prayers that might lose relevance in really advance nations. Prayers are not designed for the improverished who would always needs, it ought to be a constant in every believers’ life, no matter the social status. It even gets worse when we convert the purpose of this God ordained means of communicating with Him; Prayer, to a weapon of mass destruction of our “enemies” for whom His Son shed His blood. I just wonder what comes to God’s mind when some of these prayers come to His notice. Like i would always say, prayer is one of the most foundational cornerstones of the Christian faith, but one of the most abused if not the most abused. You know a man’s relationship with God, his bible and other people by the content of his prayers. I’ll repeat that so it can sink. YOU KNOW A MAN’S RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, HIS BIBLE AND OTHER PEOPLE BY THE CONTENT OF HIS PRAYERS. Your prayers reveal your heart. You know a selfish and indulgent christian by the content of his prayers. I can assure you that God’s primary purpose for the believer isn’t material prosperity, it is spiritual prosperity. Oh yes, God wants the believer to have all his needs met and even have more than he needs so he can be a blessing to others, but never at the expense of his spiritual prosperity. This is a key building block in our understanding of the things of God. When God talks about the riches of the glory of His inheritance, what does He mean? What exactly is the greater riches we were talking about in the last post?

Gal 3:13 (KJV) Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

A colleague of mine, who has been following the series, excitedly asked what the greater riches are, and i told her to make sure she reads today’s post. It’s not a brain teaser, you’re more familiar with the greater riches than you ever thought. Knowing you had access to such a wealth of riches would make you lose total regard for the material things of this world. THE HOLY GHOST is the riches of the glory of God’s inheritance in the saints. That is the greater riches. Nothing beats Him. He is the supernatural essence of the Godhead, He crystalises God’s thoughts and words into reality. He’s not a force, but has authority over every force, He is not a feeling, but when He’s at work, you sure can sense Him and at times, your body might react. He is not an it, He is a person full of Grace, Power and Might. We are in His dispensation. An exclusion of Him in your life is an exclusion of the greatest riches of the world to come from your life. God’s outrageous benevolence to mankind was revealed in 2 gifts; The gift of Jesus to the world (The reason for Christmas), and the gift of The Holy Ghost to the Church. What a blessing the Holy Spirit is to the believer. You can never engage the Holy Ghost and be stranded, NEVER!!! He was the INTELLIGENCE AGENCY that directed and masterminded the creation of the heavens and the earth in the beginning.

Proverbs 8:22 (KJV) The Lord possessed me in the beginning of His way, before His works of old. 23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was…30 Then I was by Him, as one brought up with Him: and i was daily his delight, rejoicing always before Him… 35 For whoso findeth me, findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord.

The whole chapter is actually worth reading because its central theme is on The Holy Spirit, so in your spare time, you can read it through for more understanding. There was no express revelation of the Holy Spirit to Solomon, so he presented Him otherwise as Wisdom, but from the flow of thoughts we know he was describing the Holy Spirit. Verse 36 of Prov 8 even refers to the unpardonable sin which Jesus reiterated in His teachings concerning the Holy Spirit. Maybe sometime later, I will explain what the unpardonable sin is, but it’s sure not what many believers think it is. Your life in partnership with the Holy Spirit will definitely bring more dividends than your life ever was without Him. I remember when I was in the University, I bought a recharge card, and that was at the time when you had to be very careful while scratching the card, else you could lose the digits. So on this occasion, it happened that I over scratched this card and lost about 5 digits in the process. If you do the permutation and combination for those 5 digits, which could be any of the 9 numerical digits, the probability of guessing the arrangement of those digits right, would be one in several hundreds of thousands if not millions of outcome. I had no luxury of even guessing, because if you tried it more than a few times, you could get your line blocked. So anyways, i did not want to lose my money and couldn’t even think of attempting to guess the sequence. Then I remembered that i had the greatest riches of all time on my inside who knows all things but remains silent except asked and obeyed. So I asked him and He told me the digits in their sequence. It was such a miracle to me I could barely believe it. Does that then mean I can begin printing cards for all networks because the Holy Spirit knows all things and would tell me the card digits in their sequence? Absolutely not! Hehe. He’s too legally compliant to do that. I have enjoyed remarkable leadership from the Holy Spirit in my life and I wonder what my life would be like without Him. I would rather have Him than have every other thing without Him. This is a very powerful prayer to pray;

Eph 1:18 (KJV) The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what is the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints…

Your greatest riches are not outside of you, they are not things you can feel, taste, smell or handle… Your greatest riches is right on your inside. May your eyes of understanding be enlightened that you may know much more about this amazing personality. We definitely will continue with this on Monday. Have a fabulous Christmas.
