Good morning Friend.
By the Grace of God, we shall be wrapping up on the Web of Wisdom Series today. It’s been quite insightful I believe. If you haven’t read the past 9 episodes, please do well to do that and share with friends as well. What we shall be considering today may not seem like much, but I believe it is the most profound expression of Wisdom… Especially as prescribed by Jesus Christ Himself.
In God’s economy, obedience to His instructions is the smartest thing any man can do for himself, Matthew 7:24-27 however according to the world’s wisdom nothing could make you look more stupid than that. The instructions contained in the Word were not designed to be followed by Natural Men, that is why they almost always regard them as foolishness. 1 Cor 2:14. But to the Spiritual Man, that is the backbone of Wisdom. The more foolish you become in refusing to acknowledge natural elements in order to draw your conclusions about life, but decide instead to focus on the Word and allow it recalibrate your mindset…The Wiser you ultimately become. Intelligence is the greatest threat to the Wisdom of God at work in a man’s life. Knowledge puffs up, but Love edifies. Any pursuit of knowledge that is not hinged upon absolute submission to God’s superiority will land one on a slippery slope to destruction. Sometime ago, it just dawned on me that in this Kingdom, it is by Faith we come to understand… Hebrews 11:3, Eph 3:17-18. Any attempt to understand all the parameters of the God factors before believing will further reduce your chances of you ever believing. The moment we believe however, our possibilities of understanding and comprehending God become limitless. It doesn’t start by understanding, it starts by faith.
Hebrews 11:3 (KJV) Through faith we understand…
Ephesians 3:17-18 (KJV) That Christ may dwell in your hearts BY FAITH; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able TO COMPREHEND with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
The problem with the atheists and agnostics then is that for them, understanding comes first. They want to understand, they want it to make sense, they want to be able to explain it… So that they can then believe it. They have put the cart before the horse, and there is bound to be a casualty. If they were relating with tangible elements of this world which can only be perceived with the five senses and approach scientific discovery from such stand point, that would be an impeccable pathway. But to seek to understand the Creator of the seen who is indeed Spirit, primarily by examining the seen, will leave much to the faulty human imagination. This is what engenders endless questions which further produce doubts when unanswered, and hence a progressive conviction that God must not exist. This is why only FOOLS can make it to the Kingdom. Only those who have resigned from pursuing God’s reality through their limited experiences and reasoning can have a chance at the Kingdom. As long as we the created, begin our theology from the standpoint of comprehension through our limited senses, we have set up ourselves for a fatal failure.
Any form of virtue in this Kingdom we belong to is a virtue enshrined in Humility and Submission. One cannot violate these eternal virtues of Humility and Submission and have the chance to come into any form of knowledge in God. If Paul had to earnestly pray that Israel should be saved, then you must wonder what they had all the while. These were the people God first introduced Himself to, they saw God…RAW. Paul however said of them that their problem indeed was lack of submission unto the righteousness of God. Romans 10:1-3. They failed in the class of Humility and Submission, and so they failed completely. Our salvation begins from this cornerstone which cannot be moved… That is why we call it The Obedience of Faith. To obey is to bring yourself to a place which is under another person’s authority and pursue His agenda and commands as though they were engineered by your own motives. To obey may not be popular anymore, especially in this age where there is so much intellectual knowledge of scriptures with very shallow hearts for Virtues. The pride of knowledge has taken over the simplicity of submission. Thank God He is raising a new breed… Can He count on you to be foolish enough to be wise? 1 Cor 1:27
Brethren, the Wisdom of God is handed over to FOOLS. Are you willing declare bankruptcy on your intelligence and pick up a form in the institute of Humility and Submission? Only then can you begin to scratch the surface of the God kind of Wisdom. This is in no way a conclusive discourse on the subject of God’s Wisdom and has not created a dimension to its boundless scope, it can however be seen as the aroma of a delicacy; it cannot feed you, but should lead you to the meal itself.
I know this series has blessed you. Let it bless others as well. Do well to share the 10 articles with friends and loved ones. Have a fabulous week ahead.
